I would like to warmly welcome you to Boldon Outdoor Nursery School. We are a Local Authority nursery situated in Boldon Colliery, Tyne & Wear.

Our aim is to provide a unique, alternative outdoor experience for two, three and four-year olds.

The Nursery is a hidden gem…think of a magical garden…a secret woodland!

The nursery school is staffed by highly experienced and skilled Teachers, Pedagogy Leads, Early Years Practitioners and support staff.

We are immersed in a unique environment which allows us to facilitate quality interactions for all children and cultivate learning in a way that embraces the unique child; nurturing their interests, supporting their developmental needs and extending their understanding whilst giving children the freedom, space and time to learn and develop at their own pace.

Children are exposed to experiences and opportunities that promote awe and wonder and put learning into meaningful, relatable contexts. In our wonderful setting children are immersed in nature and are given the space, time and support to make sense of the world around them. Through collective learning we create a legacy for those who follow.

A crucial element of our approach is that we work closely with all our families and we pride ourselves on being a warm, welcoming, friendly and approachable team.
